Riptide is a sales and marketing organization . We specialize in selling into the retail Scuba Diving market sector. We can offer you independent sales representatives to cover the United States, Caribbean , Canada and international representation upon request. All Riptide reps are under contract as independent sales agents, they are all professional sales people as well as active divers and many being current dive instructors. We can also offer you marketing services, from a monthly newsletters to a full strategic marketing plan and implementation.

How we work

We understand that working with an outside organization can sometimes be expensive. Working with Riptide can save you money, we are not employees but in essence we become your in-house sales and marketing team, with a single point of contact.

Our Market

We work with both brick & mortar and on-line retailers. However our energy in direct marketing and support is weighted heavier on the brick & mortar retailer. We all believe strongly on the importance of the brick & mortar store, as they are the local champion of our sport. We understand the importance of on-line marketing and social media to reach and influence consumer buying decisions, however without the local dealer and their energy, our sport would not be the same in popularity or enthusiasm.

Dealer Contact

Our primary focus lies in collaborating with professional dive retailers, dividing the USA into 10 regions or territories. Our representatives are skilled salespeople who are also passionate divers and well-acquainted with their dealer network. They travel throughout their designated territory to conduct regular face-to-face meetings with all their dealers. Additionally, we engage in monthly outreach through targeted email campaigns to approximately 1,100 dealers, providing brand-specific emails for each company we represent.

History

I Dave Pollock as owner of Riptide Sales Group have spent my entire career in the dive industry. I started diving in my early teens and have never stopped. My diving history ranges from a commercial deep sea diver, instructor to today as an active recreational diver with a passion for underwater photography. My business background ranges from a retail store owner in Canada and the Caribbean, to Vice President of Head Sports and General Manager of Mares N/A. i have been in the dive industry for close to 40 years and like myself, our entire team continues to share the same passion for diving and our industry.
